I was thinking about significant dates.

On 06 JUNE 2006 , the short form is >>>

666 .

6/6/6 Sixth day, Sixth month , Sixth year.

Probably just a coincidence, but on that day I'll be in my bunker with the blast doors closed. :*>

I never take seriously things like Bible codes, "significant" dates, etc. because, as a Christian, I believe that Christians shouldn't be suspicious like that or they can end up being easily misled by the enemy. I do, however, believe that the Lord sends very difficult to read, subtle signs which only his true sheep can interpret. Remember that old weight loss commercial on TV where singer/actress Cher says, "If this body came in a bottle [was easy to get], then everyone would have one...You have to work hard to stay slim and trim like this." (She undoubtedly was lying and had had a tummy tuck, but that's another story).

Anyway, if spiritual insights were easy to receive, then everyone would be knowledgeable, everyone would know how to figure the math in "significant dates," wicked people could decipher the code, too, so what good would a code like this be? At that point, it wouldn't be a "useful" code at all. I believe if you want to receive supernatural "warnings," you have to really, really work out, preferably daily, avoiding evil, keeping in good spiritual fitness, in order to "hear" when it's really time to hit the bunker or when that "still, small voice" has other instructions you should follow.

Because, if great spiritual judgment or the ability to interpret dreams and signs came in a bottle, then everyone would have it. Look around you at all the people on the street. They obviously DON'T have spiritual wisdom; few are spiritually sensitive...so there surely must be "curve balls" and more difficult twists to the game involved, lots of testing and having to keep your eyes--and heart--wide open so you don't miss seeing whatever it is you're supposed to understand.

Besides the desire to enjoy good health in general or to avoid skyrocketing medical bills if you fall ill, Joel has often stressed the importance of building up one's immune system all you can in advance of the big war for this reason: Work out daily to stay healthy because when everything hits the fan, hospitals either won't be open at all, or if they are, they will be the last place you'll want to be, he said. For example, after a nuclear war, wherever there are patches of survivors, and he said there will be regions like this (safe places) around the country, the doctors, nurses, other medical staff will be sick, too. When plagues and other diseases break out like wildfire, the place you'll want to be is the countryside or a small town where you can just hole up in your home and wait out the crisis. But if you become ill or injured during this critical period, you'll need to have your medical supplies stockpiled in advance, as well as your knowledge about first aid skills or your network of like-minded neighbors already in place.

Another reason to exercise and practice good eating habits daily is because you never know when a crisis may mean you have to walk for miles, like many 9-11 survivors were forced to flee on foot. You also won't have all the luxury foods available now--maybe no food at all and you'll have to forage or know which plants are safe, how to find water, filter it, etc. Whoever is well acquainted with centuries-old farm-type or basic survival skills will definitely increase their chances of surviving war or almost anything else.

There are many herbs, natural remedies web site links and tips at this web site. It's under Research Archives/Self Sufficiency Resources/Alternative Medicine. Tips like this one: Those who ate garlic before the great plagues struck Europe survived. Those who didn't eat garlic died. Need to control high blood pressure? Eat garlic or take garlic tablets (non-odorless ones are available). Many, many valuable tips like these--much that you can do for free or inexpensively--so you can land on your feet after the coming big spill turns America upside-down.

Hey Kay Camden !

I have seen many good books at almost give away prices at Salvation Army and other thrift stores.

One negative thing about having all of my info on
computer files, is the fact that I may have no power
to get to the data after the big one. Having data in printed form, such as medical emergency data
will be a big help. Having that knowledge in actual hands on practice is even more better :'>.

The other problem is EMP may have destroyed all of my unprotected electronics that I did not
shield in ammo cans and wrap in several layers of offset aluminum foil.

I wish that there was a source for medical supplies which cannot be obtained, except by doctors and
hospitals.. (things like pain killers and antibiotics that are not over the counter). Items that only
doctors and surgeons know properly how to use. Even a doctor , taken out of his/her environment,
is severely handicapped without medicine and tools of the trade.

One thing about staying in shape mentally and spiritually >>> when the need to move suddenly
and with great stress, you will be less likely to die from heart failure from extreme exertion and shear terror,
knowing what to expect and having the preparation to face it. Some people will die from physical exertion,
others from sheer stark raving terror.

A laptop computer that is protected from EMP may be a good investment, as well as a copy of all of
your vital data on DVD, for video and data. Watch out for battery degradation which can destroy the
electronics if allowed to leak (long term storage). It may be best to separate the batteries from all electronics
for future use. Solar battery chargers are available if no other recharge method is .

Food grade hydrogen peroxide can be used for medical treatments, I have read in
some links , such as . >>>

For some great medical information for survivors read the following books:

Survivalist's Medicine Chest - Ragnar Benson
Do It Yourself Medicine - Ragnar Benson
The Survival Nurse - Ragnar Benson

These three books deal with survivalist medicine. Including the proper (emergency) use of farm antibiotics.

Also good resources:
Special Forces Medical Handbook
Emergency War Surgery
Dental Specialist
First Aid For Soldiers

These four are military manuals. If you cannot find them in paper form send $10 to:
POB 573
Waupun Wisconsin 53963

Mention the medical disk and they will know what to send out. Thieir disk also contains 8 designs for colloidal silver generators and instructions for their use.

Colloidal Silver is about the only antibiotic that can be homemade. I added a couple of 3 foot rolls of 14 gauge .9999 silver wire to my med kit.
